Sevak Ghazaryan

Sevak Ghazaryan was born on June 15, 1988, in Yerevan. In 2008, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Armenian Philology of Yerevan State University.
From 2008–2010, he continued his master’s studies at the same faculty, again with honors.
From 2010–2013, he was a postgraduate student at the Chair of Modern Armenian Literature of YSU.
Since 2009, he has published a number of scholarly articles in the press.
In 2010, he defended his master’s thesis on “Hrant Matevosyan and Russian ‘Village Prose’”.
In 2013, he defended his candidate thesis on “Paruyr Sevak’s Unpublished Heritage: Artistic Prose and Literary Criticism”. The work was published as a separate book in 2014.
From 2013–2021, he worked as a lecturer at the Chair of Modern Armenian Literature, Faculty of Armenian Philology, YSU.
From 2017–2018, he worked at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia as Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage and Folk Crafts.
Since 2018, he has been the Director of the Paruyr Sevak House-Museum SNCO.
Since 2018, he has also worked as Editor-in-Chief at Magahat Publishing House, and since 2021, as Editor-in-Chief at Darak Publishing House.
Since 2022, he has been the verifier and Editor-in-Chief of the English Department at Mashtots Publishing House.
