Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Website, using any of its sections, or downloading any material, you (hereinafter referred to as “User,” “You,” or “Your”) confirm that you have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these Terms, as well as the Website’s Privacy Policy.

Amendments to the Terms

Mashtots Publishing House (hereinafter referred to as “the Publisher”) reserves the right to unilaterally amend or supplement these Terms without prior notice. The updated version will be published on the Website with the date of the latest revision indicated.
It is the User’s responsibility to visit the Website regularly and stay informed about any changes. The revised Terms become effective upon publication.

Website Content and Donations

The Website serves as an informational platform about the activities, programs, and publications of Mashtots Publishing House.
The Website is available in Armenian, English, French, and German. In case of any discrepancy between versions, the Armenian version shall prevail unless otherwise stated by law or by the Publisher.

The Website provides information about books translated and published by the Publisher, including their covers, annotations, and details about authors, translators, editors, and verifiers.
The Website is not an online sales platform; no orders, online payments, or delivery services are conducted through it.

The Website offers the option to make voluntary donations to support the Publisher’s programs and initiatives. Donations are non-commercial and are not considered as payment for goods or services. The processing of donations is governed by the Privacy Policy.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., bookstores, event platforms). Any actions taken through such links are the sole responsibility of the respective third party (see also “Third-Party Links” section).

User Obligations

When making public comments, posts, or participating in discussions on the Website, Users are required to:

  • Respect the rights of the Publisher, its employees, and other users.
  • Refrain from posting content that may harm anyone’s dignity or business reputation.
  • Avoid spreading hate speech, violence-inciting, or illegal content.

Intellectual Property

All materials on the Website, textual and visual, are the property of Mashtots Publishing House or are used under lawful rights. They are protected by Armenian law and international treaties.

When quoting materials, Users must clearly indicate www.mashtots.am as the source (preferably with a hyperlink to the original material).
Visual materials may be used within legal limits, but removing or altering the Publisher’s logo or watermark is strictly prohibited.

Commercial use, large-scale reproduction, or mass distribution of the Publisher’s materials is forbidden without prior written consent.

It is prohibited to:

  • Infringe upon anyone’s copyright or related rights.
  • Use Mashtots trademarks without permission.
  • Engage in technical interference (e.g., cyberattacks).
  • Breach or disrupt the Website’s operation.
  • Distort or falsify the source of materials.

The Website may contain links to external websites or services for informational purposes. The Publisher does not control and is not responsible for:

  • The content of such websites,
  • Their privacy policies,
  • Their accessibility or security,
  • Any transactions or payments made through them.

Force Majeure

The Publisher is not liable for Website inaccessibility or service interruptions caused by natural disasters, armed conflicts, widespread technical failures, or other unavoidable circumstances beyond its control.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes arising from these Terms, both parties shall first attempt to resolve them amicably through written or electronic communication.
The Publisher shall respond to any formal inquiry within 14 calendar days.
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Armenia.
